Tiger Bamboo: Tales for Folks

May 28 & 29, 2016 at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts

A FREE theatre festival celebrating Asian Heritage Month!
Tiger Bamboo is a mix of theatrical presentations, theatrical retellings of folk tales, cabaret evenings, and dramatic readings.

"The aim of Tiger Bamboo is to provide much-needed opportunities for playwrights and performers from the Asian diaspora while giving audiences new to theatre, or new to Asian stories, free access to the work of some incredibly talented artists."

Tiger Bamboo is curated by Soulpepper Resident Artist Ins Choi with Associate Curators Rong Fu and Miquelon Rodriguez
Support for the Tiger Bamboo Festival is generously provided by Eleanor and Francis Shen.
